it was as the title states second guessing. things seem a little overdrawn. I think the story could have been a little more condensed. but all in all a decent story. I got this book from the author and this is my honest and voluntary review.

I even like ”Second Guessing” more than ”Guessing at Normal” (which I loved as well) but you have to listen/read them in order.

Gail Ward Olmsted - you did great with this serie with all the feelings!

Gina Rogers - you also did a great job with this books.

'Second Guessing', the sequel novel to 'Guessing at Normal' by Gail Ward Olmstead meets all expectations is a continuation of this realistic and compelling tale of life as a family member of a celebrity rockstar. Do not expect a superficial tale of romance. Instead, you will experience a roller coaster of experiences from amazing successes, unexpected wins, and special relationships to betrayals, disappointments, insecurities, and commercial and personal failures.

These themes are compellingly represented along with some valuable commentary on the mental health and addiction issues rife in this industry. But do not get the false impression that this is a depressing story - far from it - the take-home message is to believe in yourself and embrace the beautiful future you deserve - expect some fun, embrace, adventure, and take it all on with a sense of humor. The narration by Gina is excellent.

I would have perhaps liked more development of the stalking side-story - the resolution is perhaps a little brief and contrived but I am being picky.

I was gifted a free copy of this audiobook in return for an honest review. It was a pleasure to listen to and review this exceptional audiobook.
