well written, great plot, no need for the last "truth" , could have been avoided. narrators brilliant, of y like Erin mallon or cj bloom yll love the female narrator. will be following for more.

I just really struggled with some of the language, so I think other readers might be fine with it.
I couldn’t get past the fmc’s nickname. No man should call his lover ‘kid’. And I just find some of it a vulgar, along the lines of ‘you know you want to sit on my cock’. Who says that in a conversation if he’s trying to win the girl over, unless it’s in banter? Just gave me the ick. Which was a shame because I really liked his back story and struggles.

This story was more gripping and emotional than I expected. It held my attention and made me want to hear more.
Obviously the male lead is a walking red flag but this is why we read!
I’ve enjoyed listening to this and want to read more by this author.
