Some bodies just won’t stay buried.

When a client tells Sam Applewhite she’s seen ghosts in the nearby graveyard, Sam dismisses it as the ramblings of an old woman. She’s got bigger things to worry about. Well described characters, darkly comic situations, masterly narration/performance. Who knew Skegness was such a hotbed of criminal carryings on!

If you have read books by this prolific writing team and enjoyed them Then it is easy to say ‘dive in, you’ll love it’ and if you haven’t it is a great starting point for a new comic crime/mystery series with a dollop of anarchic horrors.
Sam is busy with her job(s) and gets caught up in a very strange situation with a seal and then the situation descends into chaos with some fantastic characters. I found it a great listen on audible and would thoroughly recommend.

These authors and the narrator are a perfect match.
The story was a little slow starting but when it did I got thoroughly hooked.
They never fail to make me smile, perfect escapism for dark times.

Finished it, loved it, bought the next one!
