Loved the narrator apart from the shocking ‘Australian’ accent, I feel bad saying it but I don’t think accents should be done if you can’t do a decent one.

I don't know how this audiobook ended up in my library, I definitely didn't chose it. But here it is so I figured I'd give it a go. Sadly, I have no idea if the book is any good because I just can't get past the narrators horrific Australian accent, I would have no idea where he was from if it wasn't mentioned SO MANY TIMES in the space of 10 mins that he has a dreamy Australian accent... not from what I was listening dear! in fact I think my ears are bleeding from the audio assault it's just suffered. I'm sure the book is great, but definitely not the audio.
Zero stars, give your ears a treat and buy the paperback instead.
