Summary
Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned, and that goes double when she’s a volva. Scorn is a dark and violent Shakespearean tragedy akin to the Viking Sagas. This paranormal tale of vengeance and honor takes place in a fantasy world similar to 8th Century Scandinavia where Norse mythology is alive and breathing.
King Ingvar is a good ruler and an honorable man that is sent on a quest by Freya, Goddess of War, herself to rescue Odin All-Father's raven, Muninn from a mad king. But Ingvar's fatal flaw is falling in love with, and then scorning, a powerful volva while on this quest.
