I'm not sure if it was the dialogue or character development, but something felt missing. Perhaps, if a few scenes were to be revised, it would be an enjoyable story. The narration by Levar Ross is excellent. His reading was clear, precise, and I liked his voice and accent.

This was a 3.5 star book for me. I felt like it was rushed and there was more to the story that could of been a lot better and emotional. The storyline was good however I feel the execution wasn’t quite right.

Although I enjoyed this book, the constant self esteem issues was hard to hear as it seemed too repetitive and the insta love was almost too rushed after what was going on. Don’t get me wrong, I love insta love stories but this one just didn’t pull me in as I had hoped.

I am STRUGGLING with a review for this book. The amount of misogyny in this made me want to vomit. I tried to keep going and I did for awhile but then I just had enough.

My struggle is I was given this audiobook for a review and Levar Ross has such a freaking yummy voice. Soon as this book started, I was like YES!! Until he started reading these words and then I was like noooooooooooooo. STOP! Don’t ruin this voice for me. 😭😭😭
