This is one hot and great fast listen. Forbidden romance, a man who falls first, fast and hard. Best friend’s sister and the drama.

Jade and Locke are secretly together, and honestly? They're both low-key terrified that Jade's brother, Jace, is going to find out. They know they should just tell him already, but they keep putting it off, which never ends well because you know Jace WILL find out and the sh… will hit the fan.

And yep, it goes exactly how you'd expect. Jace loses it and becomes big bro protective in a super annoying way and tries to save his little sister from Locke, whether she wants it or not.

It is nothing new as a trope and honestly, not done well or interestingly. Listened on 2.5 speed for the last half of the book just to get it done.

Him calling him “my woman” repeatedly gave me such an ick. And the ending left me even more icked. Not the book for me at all.
