A romantic story

Summary
Louisa Robertson’s father is furious when he finds her acting on stage. Now, she’s being shipped off to America to marry some stranger her father thinks will bring out the “lady” in her. Luckily, Louisa’s maid agrees to switch places with her! Her maid will marry the American and get the wealthy lifestyle she’s always wanted, and Louisa can do whatever she damn well pleases - for the first time in her life.
Highlander Ian Sinclair needs an army commission, and the only way he can get one is to safely deliver the general’s daughter-from-Hell to her intended in America. Easy, right? It would be if the lady’s companion Louisa didn’t wear breeches and do everything the exact opposite of what he orders. It’ll be a miracle if the sparks flying between Ian and Louisa don’t set the bloody ship afire before they arrive in America.
But just when Louisa thinks her plan is going to give her the acting career she wants and a Highlander to boot...Ian discovers her secret.

I Absolutely Loved this Book
I loved this book. Yet another brilliant story that was addictive. I'm really sad now because it was the last book in this series.

Loved it
Loved this whole series, I couldn't stop listening. Pity its the last one so far, hopefully there will be more in the future.
I loved this series as it was different to all the historical romances I've listened to, and I've listened to hundreds of them. I loved that the characters were all so down to earth especially the male characters, they were funny and sweet and not so macho. And I also liked the plots of each story. I really wish that there would be more, like George's and Gemma's story, and Peter's story. More please Jennifer Trethewey. Can't wait to listen to more of her books.
The narrator was even better than in the first 3.

the narrator was a little irritating
every time the word Jesus was said I wanted to pull my hair out. I dont mind it being said repeatedly in the story but the way the narrator said it set my teeth on edge each time. The female voices were done fairly well but the male ones were not convincing. I feel like all books should have male and female narrators. Aside from the narrator I feel that it was a good story

The Captain and the Sassy Lassy
Saving the Scot is the fourth (& final?) book in the series. I would truly enjoy a 5th book as “Mr.Peter” as the focus character. I have enjoyed how the series stories interconnected and built on each other. One could enjoy each as a stand alone, but reading the series in
Nokia that we get to truly know him … he is complicated and sexy. Nummy!
Throughout the tale, I truly enjoyed bc g the genders are clear. The Scottish Brogue is fantastic. Well done.
