This book really was a surprise. It's non stop action but in a good way. Lucky I was sick and had the time to listen almost nonstop. I cannot wait to hear what is going on in the universe in the 2nd book.

The MC is depicted as an unsociable loner and is to me honestly not very likable. The overall story is good and the combat is good. I did enjoy the variety of monsters which were pretty interesting

good book for someone who loves an OP MC that gets a unique class. With emotional development that is linked to being nuerodivergent with a useful skill to understand others. 'Understanding others' of course through the personal perspective.

Very much looking forward to the next in the series.
