Jim is totally enthralled, and from that day forward, Jim decides that one day he will buy his own yacht. It is 40 years later before Jim eventually keeps his promise to himself, and this book reflects the story and steep learning curve during Jim's 40-year journey. Jim buys his first boat without too much knowledge, and makes many mistakes and gets into quite a few scrapes. This book follows Jim's dream and nightmares.

I’ve started listening to this story during my comute, and my journey to work became so much more pleasant. This is an inspirational story about courage to follow your dreams, adventure and overcoming obstacles. Really enjoyed it!

I absolutely loved this book. Jim's story is one of perseverance and commitment. There are ups and downs along the way which he doesn't shy away from, but it's an uplifting (and at times, funny) tale of a man and his boat. Calum Bannerman does a great job on the narration, and really helps bring you into Jim's world. Great book and highly recommend for anyone who wants an easy listen.

A glimpse into Jim Whitelaw's life is reflected in this book. His dreams, aspirations, disappointments and achievements are all laid out for all to see. This is a wonderful story that has the potential to connect with the reader through its honesty and sincerity as well as its humour. His Scottish accent just adds to needing to hear more.

Sail with Jim was totally enjoyable from beginning to end. With respect to the author, this book makes me believe in myself more than ever before because it teaches that anything can happen when you set your mind on something- no matter how big or small your dream it may be! This is a must read for everyone.

An inspirational story, truly recommended!

The narrator and his accent will put you right in the middle of the atmosphere and serenity of the scenery. Definitely a book not to be missed!

Excellent execution and content of the book also, I hope the author surprises us with a follow up soon.
