This is a great book for beginners. The book lays out the basic knowledge you need to work with incense safely. It also educates you about the different reasons why certain things should be done in certain ways, which is very helpful.

I learned a lot from this book for sure! But as someone else said, there is a lot of information in the book, so it is definitely something you want to come back to over time rather than reading it once and then 'be done with it'.
