Summary

When being different leads to the best years of your life.

There are three key components required to get into the most prestigious, top spy academy in the world:

  • Skills
  • Strength
  • Survival

My name is Silver Spell Solange. No, I didn't plan for my initials to be the same rank needed to enter the spy academy. But I would do anything to get into the one of a kind school. I have the magical capability of an Elemental Witch, the strength to kick anyone's ass, and quick problem-solving skills to get my teammates out of any jam. There’s only one small problem - the other "S" I’m missing.

I'm not a part of the supernatural race.

After realizing that my only shot at my dreams is at the brink of extinction, I'm unexpectedly teamed up with a werewolf, a dragon, a fallen angel, and a hellhound. The four of them carry the assets and abilities I need to gain my spot into the Supernatural Spy Academy (SSS).

With the clock ticking and not much leg room for an SS score, I accept their bet, knowing I’ll easily handle whatever they request from me.

I didn't think their bet would lead me to date all four them.

It's time for me to buckle up. This four-year roller coaster is about to begin, and its a bumpy one-way ticket to becoming the next "supernatural" spy.

Thrilling adventure and sweet romance

This was such a great book! It had so much to offer. It had action, adventure, comedy, romance and sexy as sin shifters!! The characters were well developed and engaging and the storyline was incredible. I can't wait for book two!! Lacy Laurel did a great job narrating this book. I've struggled with her in the past but in this book she appears to have made a fantastic effort to fix the things I has problems with. With those changes I was able to loose myself in her voice and really enjoy the story. I look forward to hearing more from her in the future! #audiobookobsessionreviewer

Super, Splendid Storytelling! (lol)

This was SOO good!! I really enjoyed this story - It had everything I enjoy in a good romance! A strong, slightly cocky female, sweet, sexy and yummy males😍 and magic! Let's not forget the magic! Overall the story is really well crafted, and I fell in love the Silver and her men! I really enjoyed their journey in the Supernatural Spy School, and the trials they have to go through! Really looking forward to the next book, and hopefully some more sexy time with her men! And really great job narrating by Lucy Laurel! She really brought the characters to life, and good distinction between the different characters! #AudioBookObsessionReviewer

Good Listen

Silver is a mage determined to be in the Spy Academy but she is not a shifter. She meets her 4 teammates and they choose their mission but she must date them all, she agrees. Silver can solve any problem and their mission puts all her strengths into play. They pass and she gains something along the way. Story is full of drama, enemies and romance. Could have had more of the harem involved. Ready for #2. Great Narration 🎧 Audiobook Obsession

Great start to the series, good narration.

I really liked the way this book is set out with the characters and what they are facing. Yumo excels at academy stories and this is no different. I do like the world they inhabit and there is enough there to whet the appetite without giving too much away, I want to know more! It took me a while to settle to Lacy Laurel's narration of this book, but once I did it really helped to pull me further into the story.

Bring on Year Two!

Although this is quite a long book at 580 pages and audiobook at over 13 hours it was fast-paced, I didn't find myself bored through any of it, the character development and world-building was great, I felt like I could really be there. There was plenty of action as well as humour, sadness and happiness. Silver's relationship with the four boys was really nice, they would do anything to protect her. One last thing I need to mention... Uni Kittie!!! Where can I get one? I am looking forward to listening or even reading Year Two as I did really enjoy Year One. 🎧 AudiobookObessionReviewer

Paranormal’s learn techniques, how to battle at a school just for them. Fun hot sexy characters, interesting storyline, intrigue, suspense, and action all rolled into the spy academy with Lacy Laurel narrating.

More than I expected

I honestly thought this would be your run of the mill reverse harem, and BOY WAS I WRONG!!!!! This book had humor, suspense, romance, and I thought Silver was a great heroine. She was funny, smart, and courageous. Then we have the shifters... I don't feel sexy is an accurate description. They were different races, and I thought that was so awesome! The world-building was so vivid and having Lacy Laurel give narration for the story and breathe life into it was perfection. #AudiobookObsessionReviewer

Supernatural Harem

SSS: Year One by Yumoyori Wilson is book one in the Supernatural Spy Academy Series that I listened to on audio narrated by Lacy Laurel. This is the first book of Yumoyori’s that I have read and it definitely won’t be my last. I cannot wait until SSS: Year Two is released on audio. However, I may not be able to wait that long and will have to buy it on kindle or paperback. Lacy did a great job narrating. I really enjoy her different voices she uses for each character. It makes it really easy to follow along with the storyline and it helps bring the story to life. I would recommend this book to anyone who loves Supernatural Reverse Harems. #AudiobookObessionReviwer #AudioBookObsession

Book loses itself in second half

If you dont want to think to hard about what your listening to, the first half of this book falls in line with being blind entertainment in this genre. As the book goes on, the female lead doesn't really go anywherebbeyond being 2 dimensional. The book also is supposed to span a year but the second semester at this school is the last 20th of the book. There are a lot of time skips and it's more about saying here is a thing that happened in these people's lives rather than a portion that is applicable to the plot or character development. A traumatic event is brought up in the lives of a few of the main characters but rather than exploring the personal growth of these characters, it's talked about for a bit, there is a nod to being PC about it and how good some character is for noticing that they should be PC and then it's not really brought up again, even though these traumatic events should be coloring the view of these characters. In the end, it feels like the author has a bunch of ideas and began flushing the ones at the beginning out but lost their way and rather than edit down to the important bits and fully exploring them, they threw everything at the book, even if it meant only looking into that one idea for half a paragraph.

Oh no wasted money

So very poorly written and immature. I could not finish it. I would never recommend even if it was the last book on an apocalyptic earth. The sad thing is I did pay for it and usually if I spend $$$ I'll suffer through a bad book. But this is so bad I couldn't even stomach that. it didn't help that the voice of the ready was a teenage style voice. Imagine a 14 year old talking about R-rated themselves. I get that this is a reverse harem but ugh!!!!!

SSS

I could not finish this book, for various reasons. First the narrator got on my nerves, she sounded extremely juvenile at times, and other times it was like nails on chalkboard. The story fell flat, and again very juvenile. I couldn't recommend it to kids, because the language is a bit coarse at times. I might like the book in a paperback, without the narrator getting on my nerves.

Exciting RH

This was a pretty cute RH. I loved the spy academy setting. Every one who knows me knows I love uni-kitties (or caticorns) so I was pretty pleased to find one in a book. There's a unique assortment of shifters; dragon, werewolf, hellhound, and fallen angel. I loved watching Silver and her men work together as they navigate the school and their newfound relationship. There's some excitement, action, and romance. It's definitely a fun book and i'm looking forward to the next one. I've listened to Lacy Laurel before and loved her, this is no exception. She brings the stories to life. #AudiobookObsession

Loved this one! 🔥🔥🔥🔥

S.S.S. What can you say about a perfectly crafted world where you are immediately immersed in not only the characters but The Whole concept that is coming to life before our very eyes. I have always enjoyed Yumo’s world, but she really took this new series to the next level! First we meet Silver, a powerful witch who has always dreamed of becoming a Spy. To do this she needs to be accepted into the very exclusive and supernatural academy of shifters. Witches aren’t seen as paranormal in this new world. There value is lessened by this belief. But Silver doesn’t let the no witches rule slow her down, she just has to find a work around...and to do that she gains the help of 4 gorgeous and supportive men. Follow along in Silver’s journey as she becomes the woman she always knew she could be....with a little help from her harem!!

Perfect Mix

This novel is a perfect mix of mystery meets action meets steamy romance. I look forward to the second book and wish anyone who reads this the best of luck on not asking yourself what happens next, cheering for the characters or against some characters, and most of all getting turned on.

A Little Too Much

Too much focus on the soap opera with the team. Wish there was more to the story with regards of the school life. More missions, more challenges with regards to the class objectives. Too much focus on the relationships of the 5. Seemed closed to just the innneractions between just them.

Get a new narrator Please!

I love this story in the Kindle edition, so I really wanted the audible versions as well. To be honest the person reading this is so bad at the accents that I can’t under stand most of what she is saying. And while yes the characters have different backgrounds no where in the book does it actually say they have accents in the in the first place. The other two issues were that she read too fast and the sentences were not fluid. PLEASE FIND A NEW PERSON TO READ THE BOOKS. This series is too good to be messed up by a bad narrator. I’m going to suggest the readers of the “Cross Breed” series. Her name is Nicole Pool.
