Ruthless by Cassandra Featherstone is a dark suspenseful why choose romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Matthew Winchester and Michelle Price. This is the second book in the Villains and Vixens series.

I was hooked from the first chapter and couldn't wait to see what was going to happen next. I loved that we got Remy, Coda, Dwyn, Jinx, and Mo's points of views throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.

The book ended on an amazing cliffhanger that left me begging for more. I can't wait for the next book in the series Wicked to be announced.

Matthew and Michelle did an amazing job on the narration. They both really know how to bring a story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

I would recommend this book if you you're looking for a dark romance, contemporary romance, why choose romance, second chance romance or romantic suspense.

This next instalment was a wild a ride as book one. A little more narrative than action but it shows the growth the Guillotine is experiencing, so it works well. Remi is learning to work with others in ways she never expected. Only some of the 5 are reconnected. Passion from those of the five is still burning hot for Remi. Another cliff hanger ending! but worth it if the next book is as good as these first 2.
Well written and I had to consume the whole thing within 24hours. It was worth it.
