About this listen

Never run from an Alpha.

As the only werewolf immune to the curse forcing my kind to shift every night, I'm a bit of a hot commodity . . . and not in a good way.

I went to New York thinking it would be the safest place to hide. Wrong decision.

The city is home to one of the largest packs in the world. Its leader? Tall, strong, sexy, and determined that I'm his.

When my scent starts driving unmated men insane, that giant, possessive beast who won't leave me alone is the only one who can protect me.

One way or another, I'm totally screwed.

Contains mature themes.

Love this story written beautifully and narrated wonderfully she made me want to keep listening.
Although at times I did get annoyed with the main FC I still did enjoy the story and characters.
Looking forward to the next instalment.
Can’t wait to find out where her story goes.

Narrator was excellent

haven't finished the book ( currently on chapter 25), but my one and only issue, the lead character is SO bloody annoying, I dont mind listening to a book that has the lead not knowing her own power ( either inner or outer) and growing into it, but the lead here is so weak, constantly needing saving ( in a sense)
the book is only ok, wouldn't recommend to be honest. The only reason I persisted was because it was a members included book. if I had paid a credit, I would have requested a refund. This book was not for me, but Tey it for yourself, it might be your cup of tea.

not great, just good

This has an OK audiobook. The narrator makes a good effort with the mmc voice, but not really any other males. It's the same with the females. There isn't a lot, if any, distinction between them. She narrates the story well, however.

I enjoyed this book. I also found the concept of her being able to keep an entire pack from shifting nightly fascinating. Her constant captivity as a child and young adult was harrowing in her brief flashbacks and retellings.

I've downloaded book 2 on KU and in audiobook already!👏

The Narrator Is Little Lacking In Character Nuance

Such a self absorb, woe is me main female character spreading bitterness and misery everywhere. Could have been a good story but I don't think I can finish it - Henley is simply too unlikable.
Everyone has to a degree trouble in their pasts but don't color everyone and everything with the same brush... Henley is so very narrow minded.

What an unlikeable main female character!!
