About this listen

Laura is married, she has a good home, and she is due to give birth to her first child any day now. But her perfect world is shattered when her husband comes home flustered and afraid. He's made a terrible mistake. He's done a bad thing. And now the police are going to be looking for him....

Really liked the story, particularly the ending. Narrators could have been better.

The female narrator was good once I got used to her. Liked Laura’s character and felt the narrator helped you feel like you got to know her. The male narrator I found a bit strange. It didn’t fit with having such different accents.
The storyline was ok, I wouldn’t have wanted to pay for this, but as a free audio it was quite quick and easy and I liked the ending. However, I just found it too unbelievable a plot with so many bits that didn’t add up. After a while it was as if the reason they had run away was forgotten.
