Summary

Katie Hopkins' hilarious and revealing book Rude is part memoir, part handbook for the modern woman.

Laughing through the chapters of her life, she shares her disasters, her biggest disappointments, and the time she had to ring her super sensible boss to say she was on the front pages of the tabloids for having sex in a field.

From being kicked out of the army for being epileptic, to firing Lord Sugar; from her first husband leaving her in the maternity ward for the big-boobed secretary, to the reality behind Celebrity Big Brother, she has plenty of surprises to share and lessons she thinks we should learn.

Yes!

I’m so glad I chose to use my Audible credit on this! I will say however that I would have gladly paid extra for it, now I’ve read I & would strongly recommend EVERYONE to read / listen! Especially those who despise the mere mentor the name that is KH! I am so on the same page with so many of your opinions. Some I don’t share but not because we differ but purely because I don’t feel I have adequate knowledge to have formed an opinion. One area is painful to hear because I am a chubber. I was a chubber with all those ‘reasons’ & more! Now I’m a chubber doing something about it. Battling daily with my Mindset because being honest with yourself is far far harder than being honest with the rest of the world. I AM worth the effort, I AM worthy of my existence & I now truly believe both those statements.

Thank you for some right giggles! I especially belly laughed with your opinions on Germans as I was listening while on a sunbed in warmer climes & pretty much surrounded by them!!

Thank you for your honesty, bearing all & for sharing some personal stuff too. Being vulnerable & authentic but not afraid to be so! Yes!

I was waiting for the really rude bit

I loved this.. only because it shows how words are being completely misused these days. Her opinions... just opinions, are to some, 'rude'. No more so than most people if they are honest. Unfortunately we now live in a delicate world where discussing anything that might upset a few is deemed.. wrong. I thought we lived in a democracy. Thought this was brilliant.. empowering.. the kick up the arse I needed. I do think Katie was wrong when she didn't apologize to a poor lady on big brother who had a large arm due to her illness. That is rude.. but she's not hiding she's a bitch. And if we are to get rid of bitches in the world.. what was feminism for? To only give a voice to the nice ones. lol. Shows me I need to harden up a bit, have a sense of humour. and taking the piss isn't 'hate speech!!!

Katie Hopkins

Katie is one of those people who you would love to be like but haven't got the confidence or guts to be.
I admire and respect her totally.
Listening to this has made me more confidence to say my piece and has made me realise I am a chubster.
The only excuse I can make is I am a lazy bugger who needs to eat less and move moore so I thank her.
By the way the book is excellent a must read.

Amazing, Brutal and Honest!

A book that is like a beer and good chat with your mate. Brutally honest and hilarious both at the same time.

Loved it

A great book. She makes a good point that’s well delivered. Her performance was one of the best I’ve heard on audible, but what else would you expect from a motor mouth like Katie.

RUDE by Katie Hopkins

I was pleasantly surprised by this book. I thought it was going to be all about Katie's politics. Of course her opinions were stated, but it was even more about Katie as a person. She shares her life experiences, sometimes humorous and sometimes quite serious. She talked about being a mother and she shared her horrendous battle with epilepsy. She talks about the costs she willingly pays for her truthfulness and her frankness. I rather like Katie.
