I really enjoyed this brother's best friend/unrequited crush book. Payne and Beau have been through a lot in their lives and getting to know each other as new roommates is sweet...and hot! It's not all plain sailing... there's some jealousy and/or insecurity along the way, but these guys definitely deserve their HEA. It's a really enjoyable story, very ably brought to life by Nick J Russo's performance. 4* from me.

Just loved this story - first I’ve listened to from Saxon James. Nice pace, never going to have you on your seat in shock, but a real feel good again story.

The narrator can make or break a book on audible. Nick j Russo certainly makes it very special.

If you’re into second chance romance then this is the listen for you. I love an older character with a past and Payne is exactly this - James writes amazing pairings and Beau is such a beautiful choice for Payne. It’s so great to listen to how Payne’s mindset changes across the course of the story and not only about Beau but his own self worth too. Definitely recommend a listen!
