Summary

Romeo and Juliet is one of Shakespeare's greatest and best loved tragedies. In this series for GCSE English Literature, we analyse all aspects of the play, ensuring that you gain a full understanding of the various complexities - including the context and a detailed analysis of all the scenes - helping whilst you study and revise. Furthermore, we have two dedicated chapters on preparing for your exam, so when it comes to the big day you know what to expect.

Full of sound effects and music, this audiobook will not only engage but will help cement your learning. We have brought together Stella Vassilou and Catherine Hartley, both of whom received masters' in English Literature from Oxford and Cambridge University and are now teaching GCSE English Literature. Worth it's weight in gold.

Fantastic interpretations of the text. Sound effects and actors voices helped to bring the text to life. The final 2 chapters on how to approach the extract and how to plan your exam essay are invaluable.
As a brand new English teacher, I found this guide logical, split up into sizeable chunks and explained in clear language. Would highly recommend to students revising for their exam and teachers who have not had to teach the text before.
