Summary

Parker Sherbourne has a talent for sports and seduction - and the body to prove it. When the High Rollers, the professional football team from Las Vegas, chase after her to be their point-after specialist, she jumps at the chance. Sure, the position is only a publicity stunt, but she has always been able to turn any situation to her advantage.

Carly Bartlett joins the Rollers as the newest athletic trainer and the only other female on the payroll. This dream job could bring the financial security her family desperately needs. The head trainer has only one warning: don't get involved with a player. Not a problem. She doesn't go for guys.

When Parker reaches out to Carly for treatment, sparks fly. Will Carly fall for Parker's charms and put her own desires ahead of her family's? Has Parker finally found the woman who'll make her slow down and stop playing the angles?

With the macho world of football against them, can they beat the odds in this lesbian sports romance?

More Sports Lesbian Books please!

This book had some of my favorite things... Football, Las Vegas, Abby Craden, and some lesbian romance in the desert. Well done!

I don’t know....

I think this is the first book I’ve ‘read’ by this author. There were some things that I liked and some things I didn’t. The first thing is that it took me about 5 days to get through it, meaning that it wasn’t so good that I couldn’t put it down. The next thing was that it had some super cringe-worthy, PC, after-school-special moments that kind of turned me off, personally. It did have a mid-late 20’s finding-yourself-theme that I liked. But generally, it was nothing to write home about and, frankly, it felt a bit forced. Carly’s lack of confidence was off-putting, something that I felt was compounded by the way Abby played her voice. Don’t get me wrong, Abby is brilliant at bringing the characters to life and I think that, based on the writing, the voice Abby used was intentional and perfect for the character. I just didn’t really like the character, I guess. I mean, she was sweet and kind but also insecure and timid. I know she’s kinda young but that kind of insecurity seemed more fitting to a teenager than a 26-year-old woman. Also, I felt that there wasn’t much chemistry between the MC’s. The love scene fell kind of flat for me and it was an odd place and time for it to happen. The family dynamics were really good and I really liked Carly’s little brother. There were some funny and genuinely heart warming moments that didn’t cross over to cheese-ville. But it was just enough to make it not suck, in my opinion. Basically, I think some may really like this book. I just wasn’t a big fan. As always, Abby Craden is my jam and I’ll have no other narrator before her. She’s fantastic!
