This was my first book by this author but shall not be the last one -

The story is interesting and has charm - and a great plot -
The reason why I only gave 4 out of 5 stars is that I find it tiresome to listen to endless intimate passages - as so many new authors seem to add to their stories…

I am not a prude but get bored by it!

The narrator did a fabulous job and as I said- the book is most enjoyable!

There was nothing not to like in this really enjoyable audio .
The story is witty , romantic and very passionate , the characters are all just so entertaining they made me laugh out loud a few times and sigh at others .
The narration is excellent all part of the entertainment in this story I think .
I have listened to quite a few of Tessa,s audios and have never felt anything other than being entertained .

Loved every second of it. each time I had to stop listening I couldn't wait to get back to it.
The narrator was very good, Carmen Rose is one of the few female narrators I like.
Will definitely listen to this book again.

An easy read with some witty banter, though it wasn’t my favourite. I couldn’t quite get past how much time and money the Duke spent in houses of ill repute! Syphilis was no joking matter, and poor Izzy certainly didn’t deserve that! 😮
That said, I’ve enjoyed other works by Tessa Dare much more, especially her delightful Girl Meets Duke series.
