Roddy Doyle

I loved listening to Roddy talking in his call pensive way but holly voice is horrendous!

Roddy Doyle talks about Smile

Despite the author's. rather hesitant delivery this audio work made me want to read the novel. The hesitation was likely due to wanting to avoid giving anything away.

Interviewer was horrible.

It was unbearable to listen to this interview because of the interviewer. Roddy Doyle has the most beautiful voice and is a fascinating person to hear speak but the interviewer didn't ask interesting questions and her voice grated on my nerves. It was a shame.
