Story
Like stars in the dark skies above the tiny island where she grew up, freckles scatter Allegra Bird’s arms, a link to her beloved father. She’s never known her mother. In a quest to find the one thing she’s missing she’s begun a new life in Dublin. But she’s left a lot behind. So when a stranger tells her she’s the sum of five people - the five people she spends the most time with - she’s suddenly no longer seeking one person. She’s looking for five. And the truth lies in unexpected places.

Story
The thoughtful and unique new novel from the phenomenally popular author. Journalist Kitty Logan’s career is being destroyed by scandal - and now she faces losing the woman who guided and taught her everything she knew. At her terminally ill friend’s bedside, Kitty asks - what is the one story she always wanted to write? The answer lies in a file buried in Constance’s office: a list of one hundred names. There is no synopsis, nothing to explain what the story is or who these people are.

Amazing book and amazing narrative - feminist genius
It’s almost like Cecilia Ahern has crawled into the head of every woman to create this modern feminist gem of a book. There’s a story here for us all and not just one, I struggle to pick a favourite and identify with plenty. A funny moral for today’s world. Read it or listen to it and be moved.
