About this listen

From USA Today and Amazon Charts best-selling author Meghan Quinn comes a new fake dating, standalone sports romance featuring the hockey men you can’t get enough of and love. This steamy, age-gap romantic comedy will bring all the laughs while making your cheeks blush at the same time.

Running into your ex is never ideal.

Running into your ex who is now dating your nemesis is a literal nightmare.

That’s how I found myself in a sheer panic, reaching for the closest guy at the bar and kissing him. And to my delight he was easily the most attractive man I’ve ever seen.

The only problem is, when I tried to walk away after thanking him for his help, he stopped me with three life-changing words....

“You owe me.”

That’s how I found myself, a college girl, in a fake relationship with a professional hockey player ten years older than me.

At first it was easy.

He helped me with my internship.

I helped keep his ex away from him.

We were becoming fast friends.

It wasn’t until he started staying the night at my dorm did the rules of our arrangement become complicated.

Now my feelings are involved and even though I kissed the right man at the right time, I’m worried he’s just waiting for the clock to run out.

Right Man, Right Time is another stand out read from Meghan Quinn. Not only a stand out read; but a stand out listen too! I challenge anyone... a lover or hater of audiobooks to give this one a go and not love every moment of it. Jason Clarke as Silas our Hero and Stella Hunter as Ollie our heroine, was literally a match made in heaven. They truly brought the story to life in a multi dimensional way. Ollie with her brutal honesty and quick wit and Silas with his raw unfettered emotion of a broken man.

Book 3 in the Vancouver Agitators series is a fantastic addition to a wonderful series from Meghan. Now if you have read the previous two books you will be aware of Silas being hurt by his ex Sarah. In the prologue we find out exactly what happened, and boy I was not expecting that!!!!

Ollie and Silas meet in a bar, she has no clue he is a famous hockey player, which was endearing. They agree to help one another and begin on quite a ride through their fake relationship. From the first public introduction of their relationship at a charity gala I knew this one was going to be full of hilarity and I wasn't wrong. In true Meghan Quinn fashion the whole book was full of a great plot, well rounded characters, humour, sass, brilliant text exchanges, best friends you only wish existed as your own in real life and some pretty steamy naughty bits too.

Ollie is 10 years younger than Silas and the little touches of pop culture used to emphasise this only added to the humour of the story. She is mature for her age and definitely speaks without thinking with disastrous yet mostly funny outcomes. Silas is a man who has been deeply hurt by a woman he spent over a decade with and is now faced with working alongside her. Ollie comes along as the perfect distraction for his brooding self, and shows him that there is a light to his life and shows him how to enjoy things again, how to trust again.

With cameo's a plenty from characters we know and love from the series and a few other special guests too, Meghan builds a plotline that is well paced and progresses to one of my favourite parts of any Meghan Quinn novel...the break up.

I loved every element of this book, it was well rounded with so many loveable characters, plenty of laugh out loud moments, a good spice level to keep any romance reader invested and a plot that doesn't stall or stagnate. With a fantastic audio production that only compliments and highlights what a fantastic book this is, there really is nothing not to love.

Loved it from start to finish!

Ollie is in her final year of college where she is studying journalism. While out with her best friend she finds out that her ex is dating the woman who is making her internship difficult she decides to take matters into her own hands and kisses a sexy stranger. One kiss leads to them pretending to be in a relationship to make things easier with their exes.

Silas has never gotten over the betrayal that his ex delivered and after years of not seeing her she is now working for the same hockey team that he is playing for. What started out as Ollie acting as a buffer to ensure he doesn’t repeat the mistakes of the past becomes so much more as he learns to trust again.

The banter between them is witty, the chemistry is intense and both Ollie and Silas are dealing with a lot when it comes to the past and the present. Not only do we get to see the relationship between them unfold but we get to catch up with other characters we know and love as well and Ross is both humorous and a true friend. The audio of this story was perfection as it brought out all the humor, emotion and heat and had you invested in the characters and the outcome.
