Summary

The second installment in the best-selling Raleigh Rebels Series, by USA Today bestselling author Callie Hart.

SILVER

Kiss me.

Hold me.

Claim me.

Love me.

It's hard to remember what life was like before the dark-haired, dark-eyed devil waltzed into Silver's life and set fire to her soul.

The town of Raleigh is gradually returning to normal after the painful losses it suffered. Jacob Weaving and his football f#@k boys are nothing but tainted memories in Silver's rear-view mirror. The halls of Raleigh High don't even inspire the same terror that they used to....

But....

Falling in love so hard, so fast was always bound to blind a girl. Silver has been too wrapped up in her inked-up hero to notice any of the signs: all is not as it should be at Raleigh High. The Raleigh High elite haven't forgotten the girl who dared defy them....

And now it's time to make her pay.

Wonderful writing and the narration is sublime

Callie Hart has done it again. This is definitely my favorite Callie Hart series yet. I have already read the Kindle version but I will still be buying all the audiobooks because the story is that good and the narrators are amazing. Both narrators are wonderful but Teddy Hamilton deserves an award. I can’t wait until they record the next one.

characters not so likeable in this 2nd book

book one was good. there's a ton of gratuitous cussing where there doesn't need to be any but the characters themselves were cool. Alex knows more than any 17-year-old could possibly know about sex, he handles most every situation with a plum and maturity even though he's an angry young man because of the abuse he suffered... That's not possible. and it's clear the author has issues with perhaps both her parents but throughout the second book the father, a genuinely likable and funny guy, is portrayed as clueless, stupid, and an overall dumb parent. he leaves the house when he knows that the boyfriend is upstairs screwing his daughter. any parent who does that is a dumbass. towards the end of the book the 17-year-old bosses around the father and treats him like a dumbass. That's sad to me that this continues to happen. of course the cussing is insane and The daughter, silver, is a freak having sex in public in a club where everybody else is having sex. Alex, the boyfriend, knows that she is suffering from some PTSD from the rape she suffered in the first book but yet he takes her to this club and under the guise of not denying the love of his life anything exposes their perfect love to the depravity of other people and thinks she's magnificent because she's having sex in public. seriously? and I think that what bothers me the most is Alex has this relationship with the father and seems to respect him and the father is the only person to ever really show him some decency besides the drug running motorcycle club kingpin guy that Alex works for and yet Alex has sex with his daughter in a sex club and screws her in the shower and does all kinds of wonderfully inappropriate things that completely makes him look like a dishonorable s*******. all that being said the first book was better. this one was okay but the characters aren't as likable in this one simply because the whole perfect love thing is not reflected in the actions of either one. she obviously has issues and he does nothing about them except have lots of sex with her in public places. That's not love. or maybe it's screwed up teenage love. I hate the cover: it looks just like vampire diaries. I don't know if I can read any more books by this author simply because the cussing is insane and unnecessary... like completely unnecessary... to the story, and simply makes the characters look like idiots who have no other option but to cuss. The performance was fantastic and the basic premise of the story was good but everything else surrounding it was kind of s*****. I'm glad she didn't kill off the dog. there's no redemption to the story at all. their descent into inappropriate indecency and depravity is not redeemed in the end. like there's no growth. if you're into gratuitous cussing and depraved sex I guess you'll love it.

It was a great story but..

What was up with that ending? It was a disappointment. I just feel that it could’ve been so much better.

Good read

The book was narrated wonderfully, the storyline is interesting and keeps you listening to find out what happens next, I wish the story had a third book wasn’t ready for it to be over.

Another winner! Fantastic narration!

The really awesome story continuation of the Raleigh high series; it is passionate and has all the feels, the characters are very believable and a lot of fun to listen to and get to know. Narration is spot on. Character development is layered and well developed.

Really? That’s the end?

What about Ben? Ending sucked! Doesn’t Alex get Ben? I mean...Jackie and Ben are clearly the ones brought into the hospital when Silver was getting released. That story just, dies? Uh.

I’ve already read this book and I was about to reread it after listening to the first for the second time. Now that I can listen to the second book makes me so happy! If you haven’t you should check out all of Callie Harts books. I love every single one!
