Ahhh what an excellent ending to the series. It was constant action, amazing storytelling and I was hooked the entire time.

I listened to the audiobook and as usual, Bridget and Jake Bordeaux KILLED the narration. They bring my favourite characters to life and put so much emotion into the words.

I’m going to write this review based on the fact that if you are interested in this audiobook then you have already made it through the rest of the series…if not I urge you to start at the start of this huge adventure.
I thought coming into this book that all the questions will be answered and everything would be tied up in a neat little bow of satisfaction, and for the most part it is, but there were still more twists, turns and intrigues to keep you on your toes. It’s the final battle and it’s brutal, gritty and sometimes a devastating listen. We all have characters (and those side characters) that we emotionally bond with and waiting to hear their fate is tense. I will say though that I’ve never laughed so hard and cried in surprising sadness in the same moment.
One of my favourite things to do is guess whose chapter is next before they can say their name based on the tone of voice…and I’m often right because Bridget and Jake’s narrations are so perfect! Every voice has its own character, personality and so clearly identifiable. Absolutely loved listening to them.
Thank you Caroline and Suzanne! ZA and Solaria are wonderful works of art. There are two further series based in this world by the twisted sisters that I highly rate, Darkmore Pen and Ruthless Fae are excellent too.
This is the conclusion of ZA and completes the series.

Perfect, the majority of the book is the final battle and it is filled with so much action, close calls, finial calls and more!

The book is perfect, the endings are perfect and I need a rest after such a intense experience.

I've ended up loving them all, loving their characters and loving their actions and antics! And I'm so happy with the outcome.

The twisted sisters did it again. A roller coaster of angst, laughter, grief, happiness, anger, fear, hate and love. They even make the villains understandable. Showing us how their thoughts warp their conclusions and self justify their actions. Defining the world delusional in the best way.

I am definitely going to read Rosalines story. And I love/hate the loose ending to the man with a painted smile...I just know he will come back and I wonder who will be dealing with him. Our Queens and their friends or the future heirs....?
