Read this years ago and liked it a lot - enough to try it on audio now I'm going through a sci fi phase again. Honestly, I was a little disappointed.

Narration excellent, but the storyline just didn't grab me much. Not because I remembered it either - I'd forgotten almost everything. I am guessing my tastes just changed, but my plans to go on and read the rest of the series now (I didn't originally as the others hadn't been written!) aren't soemthing I'm going to go through with.
