Summary

A mail order bride historical romance.

Sweet, beautiful mail order bride Merla flees one horrible life in Wichita, only to find herself in another horrible one in Dodge. Her husband-to-be is not the kind loving man his letters portrayed him to be.

Rescuing the Bride.

Loved listening to the audiobook, the story was well written and the characters were interesting. For the bride to be given a train ticket ends up unconscious and in the hands of another family.
The narrator was clearly spoken and easy to understand.
