Summary

Lost. Stolen. Forgotten...until the Alphabits step in.

Sam Remington, former leader of Team Beta, has a new dream: to lead a team whose sole purpose is to protect those most vulnerable - shifter pups.

His new mate, Dean, shares his passion. As a child counselor, Dean is all too familiar with the darker side of the world when it comes to pups. If Sam can rescue them, Dean will do his best to help fix them.

Sanctioned by Team Alpha’s bossman, the great Ray Perkins himself, Alphabits is Sam’s baby. This new hand-picked team consists of five highly-trained wolf alphas - and one bumbling bear who couldn’t take a hint. As always with a new team, personalities will clash. But at the end of the day, they all share a common goal: help lost, missing, and hurting children - starting with the needy wolf pup who lives across the street from Sam and Dean.

The Alphabits aren’t vigilantes. These former soldiers and officers of the law have to do things by the book - even when it tears them apart to do so. But once all their ducks are in a row, the bad guys had better beware! You do not want this team of protective alphas on your tail.

Sweet boy pup saved by our new heroes

This spin-off series for the Team ALPHA books by Susi and Crista is a wonderful addition to this shifter world of theirs, and narrated by the very talented John Solo, the story and characters take on a life of their own.
I love how we meet Boy/Pup in the prologue and then we get the rest of the story from Dean or Sam's perspective. The couple, who are introduced in the Team ALPHA book 7 - Decked (Christmas novella), are just starting their new life together as mates with a pup on the way since Dean is already pregnant as they move into their new house.
I love the new team dynamics and the quirky bunch of characters: another pair of trouble-making twins, a bear shifter former police detective, a veteran pilot, a quirky techie...Sam is the team leader and Dean will be the Counsellor.
Highly recommended for a fun, fast listen over an afternoon or any other part of your day.

Awesome start of a new series of Alphas!

The group name is so cute: Alphabits. Sam is the team leader recently mated and with a very pregnant Dean. They have to start solving cold cases but there is one going on right at their new neighborhood. I loved John’s success story, Cyrus becoming part of the group and Dean’s protectiveness. Loved it. And the narration very well executed.

Good start to a new series.

I listened to a couple of the Alpha team audios and am very pleased to start at the beginning with AlphaBits.
There’s a good combination of quirky characters lightening the mood and sheer heartbreak, I had tears just in the prologue.
I love Mpreg books, add in other children and I’m fully sold.
John Solo does his usual excellent job of narration giving all the characters their own voice.
I’m looking forward to hearing more of these.

Heart stealing

I loved this story in both forms and hearing John Solo’s voice take on the role of Boy/Pup and Cyrus.
This is a great series and I’m glad it’s now on audible as well.

Loved listening to it.

The narrator did an amazing job being this story to life. I loved the emotions portrayed. Listening to John when he was scared and upset made me teary eyed. Sam and Dean really came to life and you could feel the love they have for each other through the emotions of the narrator.

Great spin off

Even though this is a spin off of the ALPHAS series can easily be listened to as a stand-alone. Warning: there is some brief scenes and mentions of child abuse.
I loved how protective Dean became of the little neighbor boy. It was interesting hearing about the family dynamics in this one. This one wasn’t as steamy as a lot of the others by these authors but the focus was more on the healing of a child. John Solo knocked it out of the park with this one. I especially liked his Voice for the young boy.

Stole my heart!

This is a spin-off of a series I haven't yet experienced, but it worked fine as a standalone. I never felt lost due to not reading or listening to the prior series - though I'm planning on doing that soon. All of the Alphabits team members are great men. This book focused on Sam and Dean, who were already mated and pregnant at the beginning of this book. When a young traumatized shifter came into their lives, they couldn't get him out of his dangerous situation fast enough for me. Sweet little "John Smith" was adorable and afraid, and he just broke my heart. I loved that boy, and I was so glad that he had Dean and Sam, as well as the rest of their team, on his side. There was a lot of humor here, as well, which these authors did a great job with. There were only a couple of times I felt like the laughs were happening when I was still upset about the drama that had just occurred. Overall, I felt like the tears and laughs were well balanced.
The narrator did a really good job, and I give his credit for being able to give individual voices to the many different characters.
I was very impressed with this book, and I will definitely listen to the existing Team A.L.P.H.A. audiobooks. I will also watch for the next release in this series. I love these guys, and I can't wait for them to save more children.

Sweet premiere!

I love this low key, hopeful, sweetheart of a story. After the harsh and often cruel world of the Alpha Team, the Alphabits team needs to set itself up as equally as qualified but with a softer, gentler side, as befitting the targets of its services. The love between Dean and Sam is a pleasure to watch, and their protective instincts concerning John are a delight. It was great to watch Sam lead his team to organize and begin the work of this new team, and the writers manage to entertain us with the antics of the team members, particularly the twins. The warmth and reality of the characters are further established by Cyrus's bumbling but ultimately helpful persona and Sam's unexpected meltdown when Dean goes into labor, in contrast to his expected behavior as the alpha and the leader of his team. And then there's John, the sweet little boy who becomes the first 'case' that the Alphabits team solves satisfactorily. The performance was quite good, especially because the narrator was so successful in presenting ewach character at a different level of the voice range. His reading was clear and with very few misreadings. Overall, a successful piece!

What a great start to a new series. I was drawn in right from the start and didn't stop until the end. This is a fairly quick audibook, perfect for an afternoon listen. John Solo does a wonderful job giving voice to this story. You will have all the feels with this one. Keep your kleenex handy!!!

Great narration and a fantastic start to the spinoff series!

Another winner from Susi and Crista! Loving their stories and all these awesome characters!! They always manage the perfect balance of thrill, emotions, steam, and humor, although this story has an already mated couple with a baby on the way as the focus so not as much knotting fun as their other stories.

I loved Dean! He's so caring and wonderful. He had such a big heart. I enjoyed the interactions he has with his mate Sam as well as the rest of the Alphabits Team.

Honorable mention needs to go to Cyrus. A loveable, somewhat socially clueless bear shifter that you can't help but love!! I look forward to more stories with him in it and I really hope he'll find his mate too! He's a large lovable teddy bear LOL!

The narration on this was great! John had different dialects for each character and while these were subtle differences it was so easy to tell them apart. His voices were really well done and not overdone or annoying in the voice tones. I loved this narration and will differently be looking for more audiobooks narrated by John.

Thanks for reading!

Fantastic start to the series!

Rescued is book 1 in the Alphabits series by Susi Hawke and Crista Crown and it was fast-paced, sweet, emotional and action-packed.

Sam and Dean were a fantastic couple, I loved seeing their relationship blossom and grow stronger as time passed and how they accepted little John into their family. John was so adorbs and his story just broke my heart, I was so happy that he found both Sam and Dean and their team to be his new family.

I loved the guys on the team, especially Cyrus, LOL, he was just amazing! Seeing him so take charge when Dean went into labor and how sweet he was with John, just made me love him even more. I thoroughly enjoyed seeing them learning to work together as a team and I'm looking forward to learning more about all of them in the next installments.

The narration was pretty good. John Solo has a great range of voices, which came in handy with so many characters as this book has.

This was a great start to the series and I'm already eager for more! Super recommendable!

Sam and Dean...sigh

Who doesn't love a couple that rescue a poor, defenseless child from awful parents? It's even better that they were criminals and get what's coming to them. This book is sweet and sexy with some adventure thrown in. I can't wait for more!!

This is such an amazing spinoff from Team Alpha. I just absolutely love Sam and Dean! John Solo does an amazing job bring these characters to life and I just couldn't stop listening. It is just amazing to listen to a story. I just get more pulled in then if I was just reading. Can't wait for more.
