The story is good, the narration is good, although a bit slow in places, but the big twist just doesn’t stand up when you actually think about it. Nobody can be in two places at once, no matter how good they are

I liked the plot and the characters. The hero did manage to get into a lot of tricky situations fortunately he has the wherewithal to survive

Bolshie women, clumsily heroic men, and not so much else, in the end.
Personally I'm always hoping the next prickly female character will get what's coming to her, and that blokes will stop laying their lives down for the type, giving them back the same disrespect, mockery and demands, that women give to men, these days.

too much action not enough intellect. Lots of people dashing around shooting at each other lots of gore but very little to hold the interest. Sorry not for me

Good storytelling, well narrated, lots of interesting characters, made me wonder how close to the truth it just might be.

An entertaining read, although the characters - with the exception of Hahn - lack depth. In particular I found Ryker himself to be unrealistically «invincible» and skilled at basically everything. Also, the violence was too frequent and graphic for my liking. Still, the storyline is quite gripping and the narration excellent.
