Summary

Having escaped from the Processor and with the truth behind the Eastern Order finally revealed, Kress and her fellow Seventeens go on the run. Guided by Render, they find themselves in the mountains where they encounter a group of fellow teenagers who have escaped from another small town like the Valta. Finding a clue that there may be a resistance movement in San Francisco, the Seventeens complete a dangerous, enemy-filled journey west. Joining forces with the Insubordinates, a guerrilla army of counter-insurgents led by an unexpected but familiar field general, Kress and her Conspiracy set out to expose the government’s lies about the Eastern Order and to reclaim the democracy so many of them and their families died trying to protect.

Enjoyable Sci fi

Well written, well read. I liked this story. Good characters and description. Similar to other stories of this type but definitely a good one. listened to whole trilogy back to back.
