I’d read mixed reviews but have enjoyed other books by this author so decided to give it a go, The narrator is a bit annoying but not terrible and the story is engaging with twists and turns to keep you guessing about who was guilty of what. It was hard to put down, I had to keep listening because I had to know what happened next! Right up to a rather stupid ending that has left me feeling quite cross.
If you don’t mind that, the rest of the book is really rather enjoyable.

Reading the title summary, I thought the premise sounded promising. But I had to keep ignoring my dislike of the narration, to keep at it, and ultimately felt that the story just didn’t work for me.
