Book 1
This book is pretty dark and has some components that may be triggers for some.
Oceania is a tough girl and has her crew, even after she moved away. She has her guys and they will protect her with their lives. The history and love between them is so clear and I loved the dynamic. Dom is seriously drool worthy. Then there is Sebastian, Elijah, and Kairo. They are her crew and they are very important to her life.
When she first moves to Bellevue Springs things are rough, but she doesn't let it break her, she can't. She doesn't let her guys know how bad it is because she doesn't want to cause them any trouble.
Then Colton and her start to hit it off and things are somewhat ok, until that night. I knew something was wrong from the get go but I never would've guessed what would happen. I was angry and tormented, I wanted to hurt someone for Ocean.
Then the back story comes to light and I about lost it. This book destroyed my emotions! Ocean and Colton have an amazing connection, no matter how unorthodox it may be. I want to see them happy, together. I'm worried with the cliffhanger that things aren't going to work out, and I know a huge plot twist is coming because that cliffhanger had me completely shook! I couldn't believe that was the end. I needed answers!
Book 2
Holy mother of all things, what the hell did I just read?
I'm still reeling! I want, no I NEED answers. Like what?
Ok, so first off I hate the way things played out with the crew. I hated the answers I got, which makes me wary and nervous to see what happens next. I mean really guys? And Dominic, dude I get it but come on.
And what the hell Mama Crazy Pants? You are Psycho with a capital P! Like for real.
The drama in these books is so intense and so good, you never know what is waiting around the next turn. I loved the edge of the seat feeling of it all. I couldn't get enough and didn't want to put it down because I was completely invested. Then you throw the wine cellar at me. I mean really? What was that? Then I saw it coming but was still unprepared... you left us hanging! I knew you would but I still wasn't ready.
I need to know what happens. I need to know how it ends, but my greedy self will have to wait for the next audiobook because they are that amazing. Usually I will finish the series on ebook and then listen to the audio once it comes out but Lessa Lamb is a freaking queen! She knows just how to keep you invested and the emotions are FELT!! I'm fully involved now, I'm obsessed and I love it!
Book 3
Where do I even begin?
First off this series is gutting me, but this book took the cake. The turmoil that Oceana has gone through in her life is brutal and the hurt that she has endured is massive, but her bravery and strength are motivational. Her strength and selflessness are something to aspire to. She is my favorite heroine of all times. I have never read a character like her and I love her immensely.
Now let's talk about Colton for a minute.. Can I just say the one "surprise" chapter from him gutted me? Because yeah it did. I love Colton and his transparency. I love that his emotions and feelings are so clear and the love is immense. His heart is so big and his loyalty is strong.
Ocean and Colton have been through, and are still going through, more than any 17/18 year old should ever have to face in life and it's all been because of others actions. They are like pawns in a chess game and have no control over things, or do they? I hate seeing these two hurt, it feels as if their pain is my own. I hurt with them. These characters are so well developed I forgot I was just reading it and not actually living it myself.
Ok so the boys.... Where do I even begin? I mean seriously there is too much to unload about all of them and all of the "things" surrounding them, I won't even get into all of it for fear of spoilers but what the actual what? My heart can't take much more. I expected so much more, regardless of how things started or why. I just... I can't.
All that being said... I need to talk about the ending! Heart. Broken. Shattered... CRUSHED!! Why why why?! Ok no spoilers.. no spoilers but seriously that cliffhanger hurt. That ending hurt. Next book here I come because I can't leave it like that. I have to know.
Sheridan Anne, I don't know how you do it but your creativity is unmatched. Your writing is phenomenal and I am in awe of how you come up with these plots and storylines and characters. Amazing work.
Book 4
Total emotion overload!
This series has been a WILD ride and I loved every minute of it!
Ocean has so many things going on for an 18 year old and there doesn't seem to be an end in sight. I couldn't imagine things working out for her.. I, just, wow.
I don't want to give any spoilers away but my emotions were all over the place with this book and the scene on the side of the highway... talk about ugly cry! My goodness I was such a wreck reading this book. I love Ocean something fierce and Colton too. I love the strength they both had and the loyalty, but hated the situations they were put in. Although I loved watching them fight for everything together, I hated that they had to. Sheridan really knows how to bring characters to life and the emotions as well. I felt it all like I was there. I loved and hated it all the same. It was spectacular. I was so torn about Nic and all the stuff going down I didn't know if I loved or hated him I was so back and forth on all of it. I wanted to see a happy ending with Ocean and Colton together and Nic and the boys standing by their sides but it was childish of me to hope for such a thing. I knew it was next to impossible but the way things played out.. I didn't expect it at all. My heart was shredded then slowly placed back together. But that ending though... How you gonna do me like that? I mean ouch! Now I am off to read Nic's book because the questions are still lingering!
Book 5
I was so torn about my feelings towards Nic in Ocean's and Colton's story, but I wanted to see redemption and happiness. I wanted there to be good in him, silly me. When reading a book about a gang boss, never expect for there to be redemption. HOWEVER, this book was everything to me. Not how I saw things playing out AT ALL but alas I was won over. Of course!
Nic had so much going on in his life and had so many hard decisions to make but he is a boss and knows what he is doing.
Roni was such and good girl and seemed to be Nic's opposite in all the ways, but really she was perfect for him. I loved watching these two find their way and become themselves. I loved the way things played out and loved the fierceness they had for their relationship, if you can even call it that.
This was a short book but that doesn't mean it wasn't jam packed with all the goodness that is Sheridan Anne!
This series is amazing and the audios are even better! I loved every minute of this entire emotional wild ride!

This is so much more than the usual bully books. It’s dark. It’s edgy. It’s got triggers. It’s absolutely amazing! I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed this book. Lessa definitely made this book amazing, it’s written very well but the performance is fantastic, heartfelt and emotional. I can’t wait for book 2!!!

This book is so funny in places, I was literally walking down the street crying with laughter looking like an idiot. This book has been written so very well by Sheridan. There is a perfect balance of humour sass sarcasm emotion and drama. A fantastic performance from both Blake and Lessa. I can’t wait for the next book.

I can’t tell you how much I’ve enjoyed this series. It’s so much more than the normal bully romance books. Sheridan has written pure gold. The characters are brilliant. A fantastic performance from both Lessa and Blake.

Ocean and Colton have become one of my favourite couples. The supporting characters kept me entertained with their own romances and banter. I would love to see more from the widows and wolves too.
While the story starts with as a bully type romance it quickly becomes clear that Colton would burn every bridge if it means protecting Ocean.
The narrators did an amazing jobs. The story is primarily told from Oceans perspective until the later books. This works well as it leaves the other characters a little ambiguous.

I absolutely love Sheridan's books! I was hooked from the first chapter and couldn't wait to see what was going to happen next. There were a few times I wanted to scream at the boys in Oceania's life. But I love that she keeps her head held high and pushes through. The epilogue had me in tears.
I was so glad the bonus novella Black Widow was included in this collection. I loved Dominic and Roni together.
Lessa, Maeve and Blake did an amazing job on the narration. They really know how to bring a story to life. I can't wait to listen to more of their work in the future.
I would recommend this collection to anyone who loves dark romances, bully romances, gang romance, or romantic suspense.
