About this listen

Writers pour their souls into unimaginable worlds and rich characters. Authors create for the love of the art and hope their stories reach wide audiences of listeners who will become adoring fans.

But first, they get rejected. A lot.

Literary magazines, anthologies, publishing houses, potential agents, and everyone in between will read an author’s story and not be impressed. Which is fine. Totally fine.

Here is a collection of three science fiction short stories that didn’t make the cut. Which is weird because I thought they were great. So did my current fan base, a few fellow writers, and my editor. I leave it to you to solve the mystery of why they were rejected. Was the font too big? Was the spacing off? Was the punctuation sketchy? Or were they fine? You decide.
