About this listen

This book is a compilation of chapters reflecting on 30 years of addiction. Each chapter has musical prose accompanying it. In the audio book, the musical prose is presented as songs. This book was written for three reasons. The most important was therapy and I would recommend that all addicts write their thoughts. Secondly, the musical content is a positive addiction which helps my ongoing sobriety. And thirdly, everyone’s path to rock bottom is unique and everyone’s journey to sobriety is arduous.

Our modern world provides an endless playground for addicts to use, the electronic bombardment of advertising encourages addiction but unfortunately the only way out is self-motivated. This book is not a guide but rather a summary looking back from sobriety. I would like to suggest to you that the battle of being sober is ongoing.
