Story, characters, narration and pace were perfect for a relaxing and enjoyable listen. This book is the equivalent of a relaxing spa treatment without any divas to disrupt the calm, or a peaceful day on horseback enjoying the countryside. Another great character driven story by this Gold and Taylor where the characters are likeable and the story heartwarming.

on her way to a new home and job, dakotas' old pickup breaks down in the desert, miles from anywhere she is rescued by frankie, a horse rancher, the instant chemistry surprises both, and a wonderful story ensues.
Great writing with some humour, and two excellent narrators make this a great listen, very little angst, full of warmth and happiness.

a romance where the love interests have good communication? UNHEARD OF!!! 🔥🔥

miscommunication is my biggest pet peeve and this book was the perfect antidote; Dakota and Frankie have a healthy, sexy relationship and the drama comes from life around them, not from one of them hiding their feelings/needs from the other 🙏
