Summary

A boy and girl from different worlds will meet in yet another...

Eliza’s life has been fair. She’s got a good family, she’s the star of the basketball team, and Chris, her crush, is coming around. School’s a breeze—with exception to English class. English is more of a squall...but soon she’ll face much bigger strife than a blemished GPA.

For Milo, things have been harder. Talented though he is as an artist, his nerdy gamer reputation proceeds him, and, wholly lacking in confidence, he can’t imagine the likes of Eliza returning the feelings he’s fostered.

It won’t be until the two discover a gate to another, dangerous dimension that either can prove who they really are...or die, attempting to learn, themselves. While books will prove the portal to a place replete with creatures that are meant to be fictitious, it’s the exit bound to be a problem...bearing one solution: Eliza and Milo will never return, unless they solve the mystery of the fabled Red Ribbon Tree.

A boy and a girl in an unforgettable adventure...

Loved the musical beginning and end of this book. Really nice touch. The story is about Eliza and Milo who both find a book with no writing. When they open it the fall onto a different world called Involutia that has a crazy professor and challenges for the two to overcome.
A great story that kept me hooked with dragons, swords, bows and arrows. Plus a slow burning love story. What more could you want.
The narrator was good at doing Eliza's and Milo's voices. The professor sound a bit nutty and annoying but I think that was his character. He was a bit unlikeable and as the story unfolded it all made sense.
I first came across this author when I heard the book The Fae and the Fallen. That is still my favourite audio book but this one was really good too. I received a free copy of this book from the author but the opinions expressed in this review are my own.
