as part of Michael's shared Fae realm universe, red elf ranch feels very grounded and quite "period" compared to the others (isekai emperor etc). we get some good cameos (though the voices change!) and some interesting plots.

this was a fun one but compared to the prior entries it felt as if it was on fast forward. still, a cracking tale and a good addition to the series.
