About this listen
For years, Jacob Reckless has enjoyed the Mirrorworld’s secrets and treasures.
Not anymore.
His younger brother has followed him.
Now dark magic will turn the boy to beast, break the heart of the girl he loves, and destroy everything Jacob holds most dear. . . .
Unless he can find a way to stop it.
Suitable for boys and girls.
We listened to it with my 9 year old daughter and 13 year old son who both enjoyed it.
Narrators voice is good - not annoying like some of them can be!
Good story for the kids to listen to and Adults

I really wanted to love the Mirrorworld as much as Funke's Inkworld but I couldn't there's no Dustfinger or Capricorn here and Jacob isn't dynamic enough to make a great read.
Sorry ... just 3* from me.
A fairy story.

I felt that some of the plot points were resolved by the characters conveniently having the right thing or knowing exactly where to get it and there were some things (and whole) characters that seemed wholly pointless and made the story drag. I think if it was longer with more detail and development on the characters and their journey/ relationships it could have been so good. There were just too much that was only touched upon and resolved with almost no tension or need for the character to think for me to enjoy it.
The potential was there...
