Christopher Morris believes Lucy Letby has been the victim of a miscarriage of justice, and that her guilty verdict is not beyond reasonable doubt. He is not the only one. Ever since the nurse was condemned to fifteen life sentences, highly-regarded professionals in their fields have gone on record to raise concerns about the evidence used to convict her.

The science behind how her victims died, the reliance on circumstantial evidence, and the interpretation of the statistics used against Lucy Letby are all being questioned. He has pulled this vast amount of information together into an engrossing journey through the uncertainties many feel undermine the conviction of Lucy Letby.

The answer matters for us all, as it raises serious questions about whether our justice system really does seek the truth.

What shocks you most about this case is that it could happen to anyone. the case against Lucy was non existent and still they managed to put her away for the rest of her life. Well done to Christopher Morris for highlighting all the defects of the case. Hope this book helps in the fight to get Lucy exonerated.

How is it that this guy,armed with just a utube channel, can deliver a more comprehensive account of these shameful events than (almost) the entire legal system of one of the wealthiest nations on earth?

I wanted to gain knowledge of the actual evidence that convicted LL and Christopher Morris’s outstanding book clearly shows there was not a scrap of it. At times, it is hard to read, my heart goes out to the families and the poor infants who didn’t stand a chance. There were so many shortcomings at the hospital and from beginning to end the accusations and trial of LL and was a sham. Finally, I would like to ask, How does Dewi Evan’s sleep at night? I highly recommend this book.

A compelling and thought-provoking book about an incredibly difficult case. I found it honest, thoroughly informative and very well written, raising important and valid questions that deserve to be considered. At times it makes for difficult reading, but it has the courage to examine aspects of the case that others may prefer not to look at. As a nurse, I found it particularly powerful and I came away with a great deal to think about. I have enormous respect for Christopher Morris and the dedication and courage it must have taken to research and write this book.
