Summary

Morgan Ashworth isn't having a good day. The award for Minion of the Year is slipping out of reach, and she has to administer an afterlife package to one of her human employees. An employee she's attracted to. An employee who'll soon know Morgan isn't quite what she seems.

Jane Smith was having a great day. Until her hot boss dropped a bombshell. It's time for Jane to complete the questionnaire to decide where she'll spend her afterlife. Oh, and her boss is immortal and also Death's Head Minion. Yes, Death, as in the Grim Reaper.

Great original story…

…just a shame about the dreadful English accent! Love Abby Craden but please stick to accents you can do - this was not right. However, happily it didn’t spoil the book since the story is just such fun 😊

Immortal Love

This book was brilliant; I am a big fan of this author and also the narrator, so it wasn’t a surprise that I was going to love this book.

It is an unusual story not the usual love story you get with other books. It had real depth and a lot of love but the way they met was defiantly different. The book was a long story but time flew whilst listening to it, I couldn’t put it down, it’s addictive.

The narrator was brilliant and brought the story to life, she is very good at the voices and accents, and you can tell between who is who characters wise, which I love.

I would defiantly listen to this again.

8/10

A sweet and well thought out story with a different aspect than most lesfic. The fantasy elements were explained and well reasoned so that they felt real and there were no glaring gaps in how the world worked. The two MCs were likeable and not too frustrating each with enough back story but not too much angst. Worth persevering with Abby Craden's slightly questionable British accent, it settles down a few chapters in and after a while it was just Morgan's voice. Overall I'd listen again.

loved it

Yet again, a most wonderfully written novel.
E.J's imagination is electrifying. As with her others...captivated the whole way through, my interest stayed connected all the while... Abby... amazingly narrated as usual...

All I can say... is....Next please!

Engrossing

Having read the book - which was wonderful the audible version was equally as engrossing a sun enjoyable. The only minor thing for me was a couple of the ‘British’ accents - not sure where they were supposed to be from or represented! However it didn’t detract from the overall performance.

what a different read!!

i have never tried an EJNoyes book before. the characters were so well crafted I fell in love with Jane and Morgana.
the sex scene were written so tenderly they never felt over done or too graphic. this was a love story first not a purely erotic novel.

Weird storyline.

A very weird storyline, but interesting at the same time. when I started this book it seemed quite out there and I didn't know if it was for me but I found it light and entertaining, Try it if you dare?

Possibly EJ Noyes best work so far.

EJ Noyes never fails to amaze me in the quality of her writing and conceptualisation of storyline.
Subtle and clever with solid emotional depth, I cant help but love the way this author explores the dimension of "what if..."
