This book started much more quickly than the previous book and the pace was well maintained throughout with an enjoyable balance of suspense, romance and action. It can be enjoyed as a standalone, with a complete story and HEA, although for those who have read book 1, some missing answers are revealed.

I enjoy fated mate stories, but like in this book, prefer it when there's more story than 'meet and instantly get together'. The reason for the h resisting the H was convincing rather than coming across as contrived and annoying and the h had limited TSTL moments.

Overall an enjoyable, past-paced story with a HEA.

I'm so glad Celia started this new series. The stories have so much more depth, you can really get into them...roll on the next one!

I loved this book from start to finish. The heroine of the story get her happy ever after in the end. Also learns to stand up for herself against the evil Alpha Wolf. He got what he deserved and lost everything. Now he's a broken man lingering in a moudy cell for the rest of his life and Ally is free to live her life fully.
