Venice, 1880.

I’m not always a big fan of gothic romance, but I have to say, the narrator completely swept me along with this one. They did a wonderful job of differentiating between the characters, even my husband, who came in halfway through, was able to get up to speed remarkably quickly (I think he even had a little thing for Arabella)

Sometimes a book transports you back to being a child and having someone read you a story. This was one of those books for me!
