This is a true slow-burn, romantic suspense. I love a more developed MC romance but like a little more tension and burn personally. I do love that this is a British MC which is totally unique for me. The narration was perfect and really brought the story to life. I’m definitely looking for more in this series and for a little more MC-ishness in future stories.

Ravage by Jessica Ames is a MC romantic suspense that I listened to on audio narrated by Alex Bates and Evelyn Rose. This is the first book in the Untamed Sons MC series.

This is the first book of Jessica's that I have read, and it won't be my last. Let me just say WOW! She pulled me in from the first chapter and I couldn't wait to see what was going to happen next. I really enjoyed the relationship between Ravage "Tyler" and Sasha. It's messy but you couldn't help but root for them. I liked that we got both of their points of views throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.

The book ended on a great cliffhanger to lead you into the next book. I can't wait for Nox to be released on audio so I can get Nox and Lucy's story.

Alex and Evelyn did an amazing job on the narration. They both really know how to bring a story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

I would recommend this book if you like MC romances, second chance romances, or romantic suspense.

This is a fantastic start and first book of the “Untamed Sons MC” series, the story grabbed my attention right from the start and held it hostage the entire time. The characters are realistic, easy to relate to and connect with, they were easy to care about too. Ravage is the president of the Untamed Sons Motorcycle club and his younger brother Sin is his vice president. Ravage was not happy when his ex comes to the club asking to see both of them, and it shocked him he may have a kid and as a reminder of her betrayal, the kid may not be his, but his brother’s. Sasha never wanted to return to the club again but her daughter, Lily-May, has cancer and needs a bone marrow transplant, she is not an exact match so her only hope is that the father is and as much as she hated to have to ask she loved her daughter more. Ravage did not take well to her visit, and did not say whether he would help, but she was not giving up on asking until they tested to see if they were a match. Ravage blinded by his rage all those years ago that he missed what really happened, but Nox, another MC member knew something was not right and he picked up on it again when she showed up that day and he would not let it go until the truth of what really happened come out. I loved how everything played out in this book, it is a cleverly plotted story with plenty of drama, angst, twists and turns, some thrilling and suspenseful moments, heartfelt emotions and a wonderful second chance romance. Jessica Ames, thank you for this great story and emotional rollercoaster ride.

🎧📚🎧 And for the wonderful narration, Alex Bates and Evelyn Rose are talented narrators and versatile voice artists. They had a complete understanding of the characters they were portraying, giving each a voice that fit that character’s persona and were believable in every role they played. Evelyn Rose grasped every side of Sasha’s personality, her strength and her determination, whole Alex Bates played the perfect alpha biker bad boy. Both were great performing the roles of the secondary characters as well. They set the perfect tone for the story, captured all the character’s emotions and projected them into their performance. These entertaining storytellers are a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for this great listen.

Motorcycle Club books are a passion of mine. It's the feel of the family, whether blood or not, having each other's back and standing together. Ravage pulls it all together with this romantic suspense, giving us tragedy, feeling all the members coming together and having the one true love. Sasha is desperate. Her daughter is in need of a bone marrow transplant, and no matter what she has to do, she is determined to find a match, even if it means facing her past. Ravage and Sin, either could be the father and now she is depending on them to do what is right. Ravage knows his heart belongs to this woman, and finally takes the time to find the answers he seeks. But when he finds out the truth, he knows decisions have to be made and consequences given. This is a beautiful love story, with such tragic circumstances. It's brutal, yet all I could feel in the end was the love these two have and the enveloping feelings of the club. I enjoyed this first installment of the Untamed Sons series and with the lead up to the next book, I am anxiously awaiting it's release!

Alex Bates and Evelyn Rose become Ravage and Sasha. Talk about a huge array of emotions, these two portray each one, pull at the heart strings and make it seem real. I felt the pain, the frustration, the fury and the love so clearly. It's a great team and fantastic narration.
