Summary

A two-book set featuring sexy men who wear the Silver Star of the Texas Rangers.

Meet Zeb Childress and Kade Lawson, Texas Rangers who live by a code of justice. They enjoy their share of passion with the women who pass through their lives, but neither expect to find lasting love.

Funny how life often dishes you up a plate of something you didn't expect. Only these men are being served something way out of the ordinary: women who inspire lust and love with near lethal force - and the dangers that follow them.

Come join Zeb and Kade as they discover that love is kin to justice - sometimes you have to fight for it and hope you don't have to die for it.

Another winner

This is a two book set. It’s a don’t miss. At first the narrator was difficult but the more I listened he was perfect for the book. I prefer longer books but this is a series I will continue to read.

This was sooooo soooo bad!

worst ever narration, he was bored out of his mind, You couldn't even follow story as bad as narration was. i just couldn't get past chapter 4, I tried... really really tried. i like other this authors books, and I imagen with different narration I would have given it a chance...

Didn't Like Narrator

The story might be good, but I couldn't get past the first chapter because of the narrators voice.

Fantastic

I was so happy to see Joe again! These books show that even broken people can be fixed when they find the right people to be in their life. I will say the last book is my favorite because joe is in it.

I felt a disconnect then a connect . . .

There was a feeling that the two stories were connected by then when I listen to them both I could not find that connection between the two besides a name passing here or there. I was hurt by Zeb's (Zebediah) story and the ending. I felt lost. I wanted more. I wanted the ending to have that something extra. I was heartsick for Willa.

Now when the second story came along I was on the fence but it soon changed to on the fence and wanting to know more about Joe. I found Joe to be the most intriguing of them all. Cia and Kade at the super hot chemistry and the sizzle and burn that set the audio ablaze. There was an element of supernatural and paranormal with this read. It pulled me back in.

These two similar but different interracial romances had their own highs and lows that made it all the better.

J. Turner lent his voice to strong rich sexy males characters and brought their stories to life. He even had a pretty good feminine voice for the various female characters.

Another awesome book

Great book. The narrator has a deep gravelly voice which is great for the cowboys but a bit hard to make the female characters believable.
