I almost gave up listening, until I decided to set the speed to 1.2, which made it sufferable. I would say this book will be a good read/listen, if you don't feel well-informed about emotional intelligence, haven't been in therapy or in other ways haven't been going through a proces of discovering more about yourself and could use a helping hand in understanding and guiding you little ones better up until maturity.

However, I am working on myself in therapy, have read quite a few books about therapy too, and I grew up in a household, where most of the advice and reflections given in this book were standard. So this makes me think, I didnt take much home from it. But at the same time I also find myself agreeing in many of the points made throughut the book. So eventhough I found the narrator slightly annoying and I had to adjust the speed to 1.2 to make it ok to listen to, I give it 4 stars, which feels slightly generous.

valuable points made, but performed veeery sloow
