3.5 stars

I ended up liking this book far more than I expected, with how it was at the start. It’s almost like it dragged the feelings out of me as the story went on. Let’s face it, Matthew is a bit of a knob, and his choices are like those of a teenager rather than someone in their mid/late twenties. But once I started seeing him more like someone with ADHD and an irrepressibly impulsive personality, I actually softened towards him and felt an affectionate urge to wish him a better future. If I knew him in real life I would see him as a loveable rogue who made bad decisions easily if led astray. Like 10 year old.

I think his “woe is me, I hate my parents, my parents hate me” outlook was far too pubescent for me to get past enough to give a higher rating, though. Maybe that would have worked if he was younger. However his relationships were surprisingly well developed and believable and the writing and story were a lot better than I expected compared to other books in this genre.

Whilst writing this review I’ve upgraded the rating from 3 to 4 stars (as I can’t give a half star) because it has made a lasting impression.

Hot!

Hot!! I love to read Daryl Banner, He is one of my favorite authors. I had the audio version of this story. Matthew is a playboy, and borderline addict. While Matthew is with his sister at her school he sees this hot, sexy teacher named Charlie. This book is written in Matthew's POV. This book was so raw and so full of feelings that I couldn't put it down. I was hooked from the very first chapter. I found that Chris Chambers really did an amazing job on this one. I could here exactly hear and feel how Matthew was feeling. If you love reading about MM Then this is the one for YOU! I can't wait to read more from Daryl Banner soon. Keep up the amazing work!

Loved it

With the details and descriptions, the author painted such a clear picture of the story. Matthew is such a hot mess but so lovable. Chris Chambers' narration is on point.

Verbalized facial expressions!

The story was very well written. It feels like it was written for the narrator. Wonderful job! Both the writer and narrator.

OMG! I LOVE THE HELL OUT OF THIS STORY!

"Rasing Hell," was all the way on point. I fell in love with Mathew. I found myself answering his questions, and totally laughing at the words that kept coming out of his mouth. Mathew was hilarious. I totally enjoyed the way Mr. Daryl Banner wrote this story allowing Mathew's character to speak to the listener. It showed his creative side as an amazing author. Mr. Chris Chambers did an amazing job narrating the whole story. Also, his voice for Mathew brought the interaction with the character to the forefront. All of the characters did their part in making this story come to life. I highly recommend,"Rasing Hell," you will not be disappointed. ENJOY!

The narrator just don’t do it for me. The story sounds Ok, but for some reason It lost me from the start.
