About this listen

Returning for a second year at Akarnae Academy with her gifted friends, Alexandra Jennings steps back through a doorway into Medora, the fantasy world that is full of impossibilities.

Despite the magical wonder of Medora, Alex’s life remains threatened by Aven Dalmarta, the banished prince from the Lost City of Meya who is out for her blood.

To protect the Medorans from Aven’s quest to reclaim his birthright, Alex and her friends seek out the Meyarin city and what remains of its ancient race. Not sure who - or perhaps what - she is anymore, all Alex knows is that if she fails to keep Aven from reaching Meya, the lives of countless Medorans will be in danger. Can she protect them, or will all be lost?

The second book was no disappointment! The story is addictive and captivating. The narrator is an excellent story teller. I'm looking forward to the next book.

Captivating!

I'm still enjoying this series and can't wait for the next book, however I wish the narrator wouldn't use the same whiny voice for the other girls. She has them whining whilst they're saying things that clearly show they are not complaining.
Apart from that little niggle, this story deserves its four stars.

As enjoyable as the first one

Pretty good story, I love the adorable characters and their friendships, it’s been nice to see them develop more but the story seems to be stretched out a bit, unless the next book will show why it’s been stretched out slightly, either way I’ll be reading it :)

Pretty good

This creative story keeps me listening and enjoying every minute. Free listen or not 4 stars in performance was due to the awful accent in the Medorian language. Give this series a try and leave our world and worries to enjoy a new world not only for older adolescents but even Grandparents

loving this series as good as Harry Potter
