Acting great
Acting great but personally I found it hard to follow and somewhat confused at the end caused by the way it’s dramatised rather than written.

Simply phenomenal
So incredibly well put together, it's literally like you're listening to a film. It keeps you guessing right up to the end and I don't think I've ever been more invested in a story. You can tell how much time and thought has gone into every aspect of this series, from the writing to the soundtrack and beyond and it makes for thoroughly immersive listening. And of course, its wonderful to hear Northern England as the centrepiece for the story. Excellent work by all involved!

This podcast is addictive!
Becoming an expert of Northern accents!
Great podcast beautifully written by Joe Derrick! Brilliant alternation between the investigation line and personal storylines.
The original story was already great to start with but I also think all the subplots created keep the narration even more appealing and reletable to everyone. All the family dynamics are so on point and add to the story a pleasant genuineness.
Also, the atmoshpere of the place? Wow, it’s so tangible, the writing combined with the audio effects created such an intriguing world.
Two words about the Audio editing, sounds are crazy, so vivid and evocative. I suggest you to listen to it with headphones!
The cast is amazing, Nikolaj in particular! The performances are raw and intense!
Great job!

I absolutely love this podcast, the story is exciting and interesting. I wish there were more episodes of this story or that there will be more podcast stories from Nikolaj and the team at Ill Kippers Productions.

Listen now you won't regret it.
Fantastic and very original drama. Took a couple of episodes to get into the rhythm but once I did I binged the entire series in a day. Great characters and nice to not be spoon fed a story like an audio book. The cast did a superb job at bringing the characters to life.
I think I need to listen again to appreciate it more and no doubt enjoy again
Fantastic music and score throughout that just adds to the drama.
Another fine ILL Kippers production can't wait to see what they do next.

Really enjoyed it
I had a 10 hour drive in two halves today and listened to the whole thing, which made the drive much easier. The story was interesting and based on a true story, though dramatised and fictionalised
As I was in the car it was easy enough for me to raise and lower the volume as needed and just as well because in parts the background music and sound effects were ridiculously loud. A couple of times characters were talking with birds twittering in the background and even they were so loud I had to really concentrate to catch the dialogue. I don’t know why creators do this - surely they can hear this is not a good addition to the overall story
That aside though it was good. The characters seemed to have different accents when they were the younger versions of themselves which got a bit confusing and amusing but otherwise I really enjoyed it and it had enough hints and red herrings to keep me guessing

Ummm, confusing at times
This was an interesting piece overall. That is, the story line. But did we need the excess, and I mean excess, background noise - sound, garbled conversations and horrid music. NONE of these were to my taste (my opinion ), hence me thinking no wonder it was free. And the storyline was convoluted to give that complexity, losing me at times. But I really could have done without that noise-mentioned earlier.

Horrid soundtrack
This was interesting to listen to and reasonably well done, but I found the ending really unsatisfying and kind of stupid. Also there was a lot of really dreadful music clips all the way through and the “tuning a radio” effect is just annoying and didn’t add anything. It was basically ok til the ending.

A brilliant story with amazing actors!
I’ve discovered Radioman through Nikolaj Coster-Waldau and Joe Derrick, from the production company Ill Kippers. When I heard about what the story was about I was instantly intrigued and couldn’t wait to listen to it. And I can say: Radioman totally exceeded my expectations! Nikolaj Coster-Waldau is my favourite actor so I was excited to see him in another form of acting: voice acting. And I can say he is just as brilliant in that as well! He really brought the character of Chas to life and he was just perfect as the narrator of the story. But honestly all the actors were amazing. Even though you only hear their voices, every character really had its own personality and made me care for them. I loved the relationship between Chas and his daughter, I was scared for all the women to be the next victim and I couldn’t wait to hear how the stories of the characters would continue. This is all thanks to the amazing cast of Radioman.
The story is nothing short of incredible. It’s mysterious, intriguing, it keeps you constantly guessing about who might be the killer and it keeps you on the edge of your seat. Radioman isn’t just giving everything away from the start. Sometimes you meet characters or listen to a scene you can’t really place, but later on you get more pieces of the puzzle and suddenly the scenes you’ve listened to earlier start to make a lot of sense. This keeps you constantly on edge. Radioman expects some sort of activity from its listeners, which truly draws you into the story. It’s almost as if you are there next to Chas trying to unravel all the secrets. You’re immerged into the story and are part of Tanford and its community for 10 episodes.
Last but not least I have to say that the sound design of Radioman is phenomenal. You can exactly picture where the characters are – inside, outdoors, in a bar or at home – so you can almost see the scenes as a movie in your head. Even the murder scenes are done so well. It’s almost visceral. You can totally envision what the killer is doing.
And then we have the music. The music is just truly amazing. It has this kind of mysterious vibe that makes you want to keep listening to the story. It draws you in and it adds another layer to the story.
If you love a good crime story with amazing characters, a fantastic story and incredible sound design then you will absolutely love Radioman. This podcast is nothing short of phenomenal and I can’t wait to relisten to this story.
Thank you for creating this incredible podcast!

Gripping & well-acted!
This 10-part story had me guessing the whole time. I had an idea of who I thought it was and I was totally surprised when the culprit was someone else. Thinking back on it, the signs were there - which helps make it a clever mystery - but I went in knowing nothing about the real horror Radioman was based on. I listened as a fan of Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, not because I like crime stories! All the actors did a stellar job. I really felt for the sympathetic characters, really disliked the less friendly ones and was upset about the injustices that befell so many. The original soundtrack for the scenes fit well. I was impressed with the sound editing! I thought the family history of the wife was unnecessary, though, and didn't understand who the homeless man was and why he was used the way he was. He interacted with more than one person so if he is supposed to be imaginary, his presence didn't make sense to me. (Apologies for being cryptic - I AM trying not to spoil it!) Some of the ways certain parts were introduced were kind of clumsy, but most unfolded at just the right times to maximize big reveals., Overall Radioman is compelling and thought-provoking, as enjoyable as a murder mystery podcast could be!

An interesting mystery
An original take on a well-established trope. The voice acting was really good! The story was interesting and kept you guessing.
