Talk my way into royalty? Easier said than done. Henry was just an ordinary tavern keeper, helping to run the doomed family business. It wasn't all fun and games at the castle. A dark presence loomed in the shadows, darting silently across the rooftops at night, hunting the members of aristocracy it deemed unworthy of the title. Had Henry bitten off more than he could chew?

as the title says, the dialogue. characters, pacing, leaving room for more. i want to know where ut all leads.

unexpected gem that needs a sequel

It's a good yarn, not much out of the ordinary. However the pacing of the story is just right. The details of the period and geography could be fuller. Unlike the romantic scenes that are full of life and passion. The performance is up there with the best in the business.

Can't wait for book two.
