Summary

A gripping new fantasy series by USA Today best-selling authors Jaymin Eve and Leia Stone.

Arianna is a queen heir and at 20 years old she's now eligible for the crown of wolf shifters. Heirs are trained and groomed so that they're ready should the queen perish during their time of eligibility.

Of course, there's little chance of that happening. The Red Queen has stood for a century, and her power is beyond reckoning.

Or so Arianna believes, right up until the final tolling of the bells. The queen has fallen. Four heirs will now fight it out for the crown.

Let the summit begin.

So So So good!

I have listened to almost all of the audiobooks for these two authors..... their stories are just the type of fiction with a strong touch of romance that I love. but the NYC Mecca series absolutely took the cake! The authors created a very captivating world and created multi layered characters who were easy to love..... the romance in this particular series is believable and beautiful. I was surprised by how taken I was with this series. .... so much so that I went in search of the kindle copy of book 2 because there was no way I could wait on audible to produce it. I'm waiting for book 3.... it comes out on Kindle on April 26. I'm counting the days.

Liked this but should have been longer

I really like these author's and her narrators, but I feel like more could have happened and expected the book to be longer as it felt more like scene setting than the actual story. I hope the next ones in the series are a little more meaty in content.

Its has potential to be another series I like though.

This should not have been 1 book

I have now listened to all 3 books. It is a good trilogy, however, I feel that book 1 and 2 should have been together. I feel that book 1 only set a scene and was not a full story in itself.

I also felt that the narrator sounded too old for the character. It made her seem older than she was.

If you want an easy listen about werebears and werewolves. It is worth listening to all 3.

Eehhh... it's okay

I'm not really sure how to describe this book... it's not bad. But when you are a fan of the Mercy Thompson or Jane Yellowrock series it puts a damper on shifter series that don't give you the minute details.

It feels like the authors first book. It brings to mind something my high school teachers would say, "You have a good outline, now fill in the details." This book feels like that. it's a good outline for a story but without the small details it's hard to really care about this characters. plus the main character comes across as arrogant to me. She is perfect in every way. It's a bit annoying.

Can't wait for the next book!

After reading some of the negative reviews, I almost decided to pass on this book, I'm so glad I didn't! It has all the elements I love in a supernatural book, including forbidden love! This is my first time to read a book from this author and Ioved it! I can't wait to see what happens in the next book.

It was nice...

this first book ended abruptly and i can't really say if i love it or not. the characters did not develop much in their relationships or otherwise, but i can see the groundwork happening. I will read the second book just because im curious and it has peaked my interest.

Good storyline but narrator was overdramatic

The narrator had a very good voice but it was over annimated and anxious. It was hard to take character of Queen seriously.

Love It!

I was super hesitant to listen to anything in this genre because there is a lot of world building and typically more characters involved compared to other genres, but I was sucked in and able to follow along easily. I now want to download the rest of the NYC Mecca audiobooks!
